1972 Mercedes 350 SL Roadster
Two-place convertible with both a cloth retractable top and a hardtop!
This car was originally purchased in California by the Hilton Family of the Hilton Hotel Empire!  The car was given to a longtime family friend who kept it for many, many years.  It was always stored in a climate controlled garage and driven regularly. Let’s start by saying these 350 SL’s are very sought after and very collectible. The car has a beautiful primrose yellow exterior with hand-painted pinstripes and small chrome bumpers. The car roles on the original factory SL steel wheels that are curb rash free  with great rubber.  The hardtop is easily removed and the convertible cloth top is impeccable and looks like new.  The rear windows are clear and crisp with no delamination or cracks.  The dark brown cloth top is also original and wear free.  I don’t think it was ever even put up! All the chrome and stainless on this car is superb, as you can see! Open the doors to see the original, 2-tone MB tex interior with bucket seats that are firm and wear free.  The door panels, carpet and seats look like they have never been used! The V-8 engine runs smooth.  The transmission shifts great and the car runs and drives just fine. Open the trunk to see that it is rust free with the original spare tire and complete original toolkit! Interior has a burl wood center console, a working clock, hand operated windows and AM/FM cassette. These 350 SL’s are becoming extinct, very collectible and are very sought after in the collector car market!  This one is a real beauty! Bid with confidence as these cars are doing nothing but increasing in value.  Be the only one on your block with a 1972 350 SL Roadster.  The car has a clear Oregon title. This car will be the next car sold!  Don’t miss out, bid high!
